Aluminium-scandium master alloy

The use of an aluminum-scandium master alloy makes it possible to provide a fine-grained homogeneous structure of the aluminum alloy (the grain size of intermetallic compounds is not higher than 40-50 mkm). That is, such an additive increases strength, thermal stability, resistance to intergranular fracture, and also reduces stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement. This improves the resistance to radiation, ductility and weldability of the alloy.
