Aluminium-manganese master alloy
Manganese additives contribute to an increase in hardness and strength, as well as a decrease in the ductility of aluminum alloys. The aluminum-manganese master alloy produced by us is intended mainly for use in the production of wrought alloys in the aluminum industry.
The internal stress of the plates of this alloying additive ensures their rapid melting and assimilation upon contact with liquid metal. At a manganese content of about 0.5%, grain growth is suppressed in medium and high-strength alloys; at a manganese content of about 1.3%, pure aluminum is strengthened.
